Before you start to use the program, we remind that SoundTaxi frees only the music and video you've purchased. So the main requirement is that you must be able to play your original files in Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player or Real Player on your PC (depending on the file format you’re converting). As for input files, SoundTaxi supports practically any audio and video formats which can be played in Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player and Real Player. |

SoundTaxi support output audio format
For audio conversion, SoundTaxi supports MP3, WAV and M4A (MPEG4 AAC) as output formats..
MP3 audio format is nearly universally supported by every portable HDD or flash player (Apple, Sony, iriver, SanDisk, Creative, Cowon, Samsung, Philips etc.) and mobile phone.
M4A is an iPod and iPhone compatible audio format.
WAV files are the best decision for burning to audio CD because the sound quality is lossless.

How to convert protected audio file?
Step 1: Download SoundTaxi and install

Step 2: Setting the output file format
Click the "Setting" menu on the top of SoundTaxi Window, You can select the desired output format in SoundTaxi settings from "Encoder for audio files" drop-down list. It is also possible to choose the compression quality for MP3 and AAC files in SoundTaxi settings.
Setp 3: Input audio files and convert it
To convert your files, click "Add Files" button in the program window and choose desired files for conversion. Another way to convert your files is to drag-and-drop single files or entire folders from Windows Explorer to SoundTaxi window. After conversion finish, your converted files will be stored in the output folder set in SoundTaxi settings. |
